This is my 12th and last semester at this school. I have been studying Industrial Design with a focus on Transportation Design. It took me so long to get my BFA here because I took my first year online without knowing how far back it would set me in my major. I was not aware that certain foundation and prerequisite classes were going to be shop classes that would be difficult for me to complete from home. Either way, even if I could go back and change my journey, I would refuse. The people I met because of the weird twists I went through and the experiences I gained from it all made it worthwhile.
I am taking this class because I have always had an interest in coding. Back in 2008 when I was still in middle school, I even partially coded my own page. Neopets was all the rage back then and of course I wanted to have my own custom shop. After encountering many unique shops and galleries by other users, I looked up how I could do this. I was thrilled to find out HTML codes could be entered in our info section and function. Back then, Neopets also had one help page that taught the basics of HTML coding. Using that knowledge and copying one of the custom codes of my liking from websites that offered custom neopets shop codes, I got to work. I would constantly change the original code to achieve the perfect shop with interactive features, buttons, animations,and even music. It would take me all day to tweak everything, but in the end I was able to achieve what I wanted and couldn't be happier. Unfortunately, they changed a lot of things on their website since and my code doesn't work properly anymore.
