My music taste really depends on my current mood or environment, but rock has enough variety to usually be a safe bet. I started off in my early years hearing a lot of 70's and 80's classic rock on the radio, some of which I enjoy to this day. In my teen years, I grew to love My Chemical Romance. They are probably one of the only "anxty" music groups I actually every listened to and still enjoy to this day. Other than that, Muse definitely has to be one of my favorites today as well. They have a sound that's rock yet has electronic influences, almost like a modern 80's style.
Pop music can be fun to listen to and also has a lot of variety in styles so that's always nice. It's also great to play these songs at events with groups of people since everyone can sing along and find common ground with them. A classic "throwback" pop singer I used to listen to a lot is Avril Lavigne. Today, I would say one of my favorite pop artists is Sia.
I started getting into and listening to EDM music back in 2010. Since then, I've become very familiar with the culture and different music styles. These events are usually very entertaining as they tend to involve beautiful light shows and visuals. Alongside that, the crowd is usually very pleasant and polite to be around. Three of my favorite artists for this genre would have to be Daft Punk, Waveshaper, and Rezz.
